OFSTED

We are delighted to share, with our school community, the outcome of a recent Ofsted inspection, carried out on 21 and 22 April 2026, under the new inspection framework.
The new framework is widely recognised as being more detailed, and therefore more challenging, than the previous model that emphasised tagline assessments such as Requires Improvement, Good and Outstanding. Schools are now judged on a broader range of performance indicators, rather than a single overall judgement.
Inspectors met with staff on the first day of inspection and cited the 'high bar' to meet that is the 'Expected Standard' we are therefore incredibly proud to report we met this bar or exceeded it in all areas!
A particular Broadfield success was meeting the Strong Standard judgement in Personal development and wellbeing.
A highlight judgement of the report. We are also delighted to share that our school achieved Expected Standard judgements in:
- Achievement
- Attendance and behaviour
- Curriculum and teaching
- Early years
- Inclusion
- Leadership and governance
Inspectors also confirmed that we meet the national expected safeguarding standard.
