Broadfield Primary School

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club provides a warm, welcoming start to the day, with a particular focus on supporting our disadvantaged learners while remaining inclusive and nurturing for all who attend. The provision is play-based and centred on developing social communication skills, giving children the opportunity to build confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging in a calm, supportive environment.

As well as opportunities to play and chat, we do target (on an invite basis) children who would benefit from additional support practicing foundational skills such as multiplication.

Each morning, children are offered a healthy breakfast, including options such as fruit, cereal and toast, helping to ensure they are ready to learn. The club is led by experienced school staff and underpinned by strong, trusted relationships with our key pastoral workers, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and well supported before the school day begins.

In addition to those who attend our Breakfast Club, we also have available in the morning, bagels or toast which can be eaten at the start of the day or during first morning break. This is for all children free of charge.

Below is a sample example of some of the activities which children can partcipate in through our Breakfast Club. If you would like your child to attend our Breakfast Club, which runs from  8:00am - 8:45am, please contact the school office.
