Attendance and Punctuality.
School starts at 8.50am. Please ensure that your child is here every day and on time. If your child is going to be absent from school please ring the office.
We are happy for you to bring your child into the classroom to see that they are settled and support them with writing their name. However, we would appreciate that you leave the classroom promptly when asked, to enable the children to begin their learning.
Your child has been put into a group. The group names are: Potions and Frogs. Please talk to your child about which group they are in and about the exciting things that they have been doing.
Your child will be attending Forest School every fortnight. They will need to have a pair of Wellington boots in school. Please write your child’s name on the inside and hang them in a carrier bag on their peg.
Your child is now entitled to receive a free school meal every day.
If your child is having a packed lunch please ensure that the child brings it with them in the morning.
Your child will bring home a reading book. Please enjoy sharing these books with your child. Please try and spend a few minutes every day listening to your child read. Encourage them to talk about what is happening in the picures as well as looking at the words. Please ensure that your child brings their reading book to school every day.
Book bags can be purchased from the office at a cost of £3.50
